A factsheet using Adobe Indesign and Photoshop software.

Part of the final assessment of the Technology section of the Graphic Design course was to produce a magazine style article and present as a series of two page spreads using Adobe InDesign.

This task was alot of fun!!! - Photo Word Composition

Using a digital camera and Photoshop I photographed alphabetical shapes that related to the word I choose.

To demonstrate an understanding of 'type-on-a-path' I chose Illustrator - Type on a Path Tool to draw an illustration relating to a nursery rhyme.

Producing a DL size flier (Adobe Indesign) which promotes you town/city including a map (Adobe Illustrator) and showing wrapping text around an object.

Fruit Shop Identy

Below are some thumbnail sketches of an idea for an identity required by a fictional fruit shop.  The brief:  contemporary design that uses colour as the main design element.  The fruit shop does not want 'typical' fruit shapes and plans to stock a wide range of inseason fruit sourced from around the world.

I am currently studying Certificate 3 in Graphic Design Production.   I have always had an interest in art, photography but have had no formal experience or training.  Graphic design is completely new to me and I'm just beginning to learn how to use forums, blogs and all the graphic design software.  To begin with I'm feeling enthusiastic but also slightly overwhelmed.   I'm hoping everything will fall into place over time.
